Your Data

What do we do with your information?

PixieMe utilise your recordings and images to create your video. We will not use it for any other purpose. At PixieMe we take your privacy and digital and intellectual property very seriously.

How long do we keep your data?

PixieMe only keeps your data until you’re happy with your finished result, agree that no further revisions are required and then all associated data and information is deleted with immediate effect. All photos, videos or other images remain your digital and intellectual property. Once generated, you also own all rights to your Pixie, video and all associated media and PixieMe will never utilise, publish or otherwise distribute your media without your express consent.

What is our data privacy policy?

PixieMe aligns with and follows the key principles of the UK’s GDPR legislation. These are as follows:

Article 5(1) requires that personal data shall be:

“(a) processed lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner in relation to individuals (‘lawfulness, fairness and transparency’);

(b) collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and not further processed in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes; further processing for archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes shall not be considered to be incompatible with the initial purposes (‘purpose limitation’);

(c) adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed (‘data minimisation’);

(d) accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date; every reasonable step must be taken to ensure that personal data that are inaccurate, having regard to the purposes for which they are processed, are erased or rectified without delay (‘accuracy’);

(e) kept in a form which permits identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed; personal data may be stored for longer periods insofar as the personal data will be processed solely for archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes subject to implementation of the appropriate technical and organisational measures required by the GDPR in order to safeguard the rights and freedoms of individuals (‘storage limitation’);

(f) processed in a manner that ensures appropriate security of the personal data, including protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage, using appropriate technical or organisational measures (‘integrity and confidentiality’).”

Will you keep my Pixies?

We will not keep any of the artwork that we generate based on your data unless specifically agreed with you for later work (e.g. larger projects, repeat business orders and things of this nature). In these very specific circumstances we will send data reminders regularly and should you wish us to remove and delete your data at any point then we’ll do so with immediate effect.
